Badrinath Temple generally opens around 4:30 AM for morning rituals and darshan, closes in the afternoon (around 1 PM), and reopens in the evening (around 4 PM) until 9 PM, with specific darshan times varying slightly but usually available from ~7:30 AM to 1 PM and 4 PM to 9 PM; it’s closed from November to April due to winter. Morning Abhishek Puja happens from 4:30 AM to 6:30 AM, with general darshan starting after, while evening Sandhya Aarti is around 6:30-7:00 PM.
Even though Badrinath is warmer during the summer months, it experiences cold and chilly weather throughout the year. Pack sweaters, jackets, thermals, woollen caps, proper footwear and gloves. Carry an umbrella, raincoat and torch in case of sudden showers.
