Day 1

You will arrive in Haridwar, Rishikesh or Dehradun and begin your scenic drive towards the Badrinath region. The road passes through valleys, rivers and mountain curves. On arrival at your hotel or lodge, you check in and rest overnight.

Day 2

After breakfast, you continue your drive to Badrinath. Once you reach the town, you will check in and relax. Later, you visit the Badrinath Temple to offer prayers to Lord Vishnu. In the evening, you may attend the temple aarti and experience the divine atmosphere before returning to your hotel.

Day 3

In the morning, you may visit Mana Village, the last Indian village before the Indo-Tibetan border. You may also explore nearby holy and scenic spots depending on time and weather. The rest of the day is free for rest, reflection and quiet prayer. Overnight stay will be at Badrinath or nearby.

After breakfast, you begin your return drive towards your starting point and later depart for your onward journey, completing the pilgrimage.

FAQs

Badrinath Temple generally opens around 4:30 AM for morning rituals and darshan, closes in the afternoon (around 1 PM), and reopens in the evening (around 4 PM) until 9 PM, with specific darshan times varying slightly but usually available from ~7:30 AM to 1 PM and 4 PM to 9 PM; it’s closed from November to April due to winter. Morning Abhishek Puja happens from 4:30 AM to 6:30 AM, with general darshan starting after, while evening Sandhya Aarti is around 6:30-7:00 PM.

Even though Badrinath is warmer during the summer months, it experiences cold and chilly weather throughout the year. Pack sweaters, jackets, thermals, woollen caps, proper footwear and gloves. Carry an umbrella, raincoat and torch in case of sudden showers.
